Dublin is the motherland of many a famous playwright, poet or artist and it is perfect for those wanting to see its creative attractions, not forgetting the James Joyce Museum and the birthplace of George Bernard Shaw. The Irish capital is a city that hardly sleeps, and the numerous shops, cafés and clubs, situated amongst Georgian squares and flower-filled parks, prove that it is an exciting place to be day or night. Public transport could be better, tourists might want to take an all day bus card if getting around a lot but the city centre is fairly compact.
